About Zitong:
When Zitong was just 2-1/2 years old, her grandfather introduced her to the piano. She began formal studies at the age of five. Zitong’s teachers in her native China have included Ms. Hua Chang and Mr. Yuan Sheng. In 2006, she was awarded first prize for the Xinghai piano competition and also won the Performance Award for a piece by a Chinese composer. In 2007, she won the piano competitions of both KAWAI and Steinway in China. Now 12 years old, Zitong studies at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
