About Weston:
Weston Mizumoto enjoys performing piano music for audiences all over the world and has been recognized for his solo work as well as for chamber music. His numerous awards include piano scholarships from the Chopin Foundation of the United States and the Warsaw Piano Institute (2010), first-place prizes in the CAPMT Concerto Competition (2009) and California International Young Artists Competition (2007), and grand prize at the Glendale Piano Competition (2009). Now 16, he studies with Dr. Susan Boettger in Huntington Beach, California. Weston ranks among the best in the world at his hobby, Rubik’s Cube competition, and is founder of a popular speed-cubing club.
