About Leonardo:
Fifteen-year-old Leonardo Colafelice has won many awards since he began studying piano at the age of 8. He currently studies with Pasquale Iannone and Marisa Somma in his home country of Italy. His awards include first prizes at international competitions in Paris, France, and in Caserta, Bologna, and Bari in Italy. He was the first-prize winner for piano performance at the 2010 international competition “Torneo Internazionale di Musica” in Italy and a semi-finalist in 2010 at the Thomas & Evon Cooper International Competition in Oberlin, Ohio, USA. Leonardo has performed concerti with several orchestras in Italy.
