Aged 16, this native Russian pianist, Arsenii Mun, has received awards in more than fifteen Russian and international contests. He began studying music at age six and proceeded to win all awards at the 2009 EMCY International Competition of Young Musicians in Estonia just four years later. In 2011, Arsenii won first prize at the 9th International Competition for Young Pianists in Ukraine, third prize at the XII International TV Contest “Nutcracker” in Moscow and the People Choice Award for favorite pianist. He received special invitation to perform as soloist at Mozart Haus in conjunction with a third place award at the 9th International Contest “A Step Towards Mastery” in Saint-Petersburg in 2013. Moscow’s Yamaha music award was given to Arsenii in 2014. He has performed in some of the best concert halls of Russia, Ukraine and abroad while performing as soloist, participating in various music festivals and playing in concert with different orchestras and music scholars.
