Nathan Lee, 13, attends Inglewood Middle School in Sammamish, Washington. Nathan made his orchestral debut at age 9 with the Münster Hochschule Orchestra of Germany, and since 2011 has performed with the Seattle Symphony, Coeur d’Alene Symphony, Ashdod Symphony of Israel, and as a soloist with the Music Fest Perugia Festival Orchestra in Perugia, Italy.
Nathan won first place prizes in the MTNA Junior Piano Competition in 2012 and 2013 at the National level competition. In 2011 he took First Place at the Chopin Northwest Foundation Competition, Division A (ages 9 and under), and also took First Place Division B (age 10-12) in that competition in 2013. He was the winner of the Coeur d’Alene Symphony National Young Artists’ High School Piano Competition in 2012. In 2011 Nathan was a featured soloist in the concert series sponsored by the Bainbridge Performing Arts Center and the Russian Chamber Music Foundation of Seattle.
Nathan has been featured on Classical KING FM NW Focus Live, KING TV Good Day Northwest and KPBX FM Classical Music. He plays at many private and charity events, and in his spare time enjoys reading books and playing with his younger brother.
